Google "dhgate" and you'll find everything you need to know.

DHGate is just another eBay, they don't sell anything.

I honestly don't know what you're looking for now. Why are you asking a question about whether dhgate is dodgy or not, if you've already searched for and found the answer?

    its should be called fakecity

    99% chinese copies of everything

customs seized most of the stuff i bought there

prices are great but once u get all this fake crap u have to pay to ship it back to china (very costly registered )

start selling it on ebay and ur accout will be suspended

    not worth it IMO

The more you buy - the more you save .

Some items can be held by Customs until you pay the duty , and some item can be seized by Customs .

As dellat said , there is no point in buying off this website , to re-sell on eBay , - you need to find a different outlet.

Many of the items are exact replicas of an original product and many items are similar quality to the original .

Many of my clients cannot tell the difference , and some are happier to buy the replica at such a bargain price .

Start with buying a small lot , - and you never know , you could get hooked !

for a start ,its illegal to sell fake brand name products
even if they look similar the quality of materials used is very poor and the products generally have a short life span
IMO they have no warranty regardless of what the seller claims and after 14 days you cannot return them

selling them to people who "cannot tell the differnce" is unfair unless you tell them its an inferior copy of an original product and how many are gonna buy once u tell them that ?

I just got an email from them thanking me for registering with them and a link to activate my account. I've no idea why/how i got this. Needless to say it went into my delete folder and I'm checking my bank accounts regularly!

phones are sh1t,they dont have any wireless or wap settings, cant upload or put photos on to laptop from phone.can only charge them through the lap top.
the clothes are okay if you can get the seller to send you adult sizes.
not worth the hassle as if customs catch them coming through there charge will negate any savings.

I would agree that some electronics would not be up to standard- We did buy two touchscreen phones , and we not recommend them .

Only other item we bought was a couple of football jerseys and they are fine , as long as you turn them inside-out for washing and use the correct temperature .
