    Hi,

I am looking at a few laptops. Would REALLY appreciate any advise. I will be mainly using it for college/CAD and just for email and internet.

Some have a AMD processor and I've heard some good and bad reports of these but not sure myself if they are any good when compared to intel processors.

I am looking at these Sony laptops but not sure will they be good for what I'll be using it for.

    VPC-Y11M1E
    VPC-EE2E1E
    VPC-EE2M1E or VPC-EB2MOE

    Thanks :)

CAD is intensive, so I think a recent core two duo, or an i3/i5 would be best, plus about 4Gigs of ram.

graphics is also important, even if your not gaming so avoid intel gma rubbish!

I looked at 3 of them and they all have shared wintel graphics, I would get an ASUS laptop or the like with decent graphics, you will thank me down the line.....
