    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had any success in having your songs published?

What publisher / website / service did you use?

I'm looking for any thoughts or advice really that anyone may have on this subject.

    Cheers,
    Mark

Well because you asked me in another thread...

It doesn't exactly work like that. You probably need to publish yor music for a reason, becasue just publishing it because you wrote it doesn't have any benefit as such.

But let's say there are two scenarios (if you don't have a record deal) you need to set up your own publishing company and publish your own songs, or an already existing song publisher has to want to publish your songs for some reason.

My songs were "published" because an existing publisher liked them, wanted them as part of his catalogue and was prepared to put up money.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks Holyghost

I'm looking into the possibility of licensing my music, I know there are websites where you can submit you're songs online......Taxi.com........Youlicence.com

But I was wondering if anyone had gone through a 'real' publisher like yourself.....what are the benefits of using this publisher and what does he do for you?

Can you say who the publisher his? Or would you rather I PM'd you? Or rather not say?!?! :D
