sorry, on a phone right now and in a rush, so: apologies if this is already mentioned.

I have a Vodafone iphone 4 on os 4.01. it's jailbreaked and unlocked - would the phone work in The US on t-mobile or at&t?

    thanks

If it's unlocked, it'll work on both networks you mentioned (although you might have to turn off 3G for it to work on T-Mobile).

Just remember that if you buy a subsidised PAYG 'GoPhone' in order to easily get a SIM card on AT&T that the SIM card is locked to the original handset for 6 months and thus won't work on your iPhone.

T-Mobile have no such schemes but you can't use their 3G network on an iPhone, so GPRS & EDGE only.
