RTE Late Night/Early Morning

Just noticed that RTE used to show some reruns of soaps, Dr. Phil and other stuff through the wee hours of the morning, but now it's only showing Euro News from about 2 am.
    Since when is this happening??
I frequently have trouble sleeping and would flick on TV late at night, only have terrestrial channels in bedroom and now there's nothing to watch except Euro News over and over, ooooh or home shopping nonsense.

NOOOOOOOO, PlayStation is evil, evil I tell you.
I had one, long, long time ago.
You see my current problem tends to be insomnia.
When I was in the possession of a PlayStation my problem wasn't insomnia it was a distinct inability to sleep because I was too busy playing PlayStation, or too wired from it to sleep.

I don't want to seem ungrateful, thanks for the suggestions.
But what happened to the TV.
I am watching a paint gun thingy, looks amazing an all but, bring back Dr. Phil, or something, anything.

    Yeah, that's pretty much it.
But the problem is, if RTE were showing what they usually/used to late at night then I would be lying in bed chilled out and relaxed, and more likely to fall asleep.
    Bottom line... RTE is responsible.

You blame the developers because you play PlayStation and your room gets too warm.

Ook, that's perfectly logical... I'm sure.

The very cheery, pretentious lady on "Shopping from Home" wrecks my head.

Meanwhile RTE 2 is now showing Aertel pages from 2.00 to 6.40. It was only last week I was watching 2 back to back episodes of Kojak which started around 3 o'clock.

For such a drastic change to the schedule, they have sneaked this in fairly quietly.

RTE are changing some of their playout equipment at the moment, this is being done in the middle of the night. So instead of a testcard they are showing euronews on 1 and Aertel on 2.

It is only happening Monday to Thursday mornings. Normal service is resumed for the weekend.
