Bonkers isn't the word for it. I tried to watch it a bunch of different times but never made it to the end, I just get lost half way through and it just annoyed me for some reason.

Ahem.. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai across the 8th Dimension I have very very fond memories of this film after watching it on VHS on a rather large video machine in the 80's (one of the original models with massive skelton like play and rewind\fastforward keys - rewinding anything took forever!). Couldn't tell you much about the script or what the story is about (actually I really don't think anyone would be able to give a good overview of the story as its that mental) but I remember absolutely loving it, especially the end credits (aren't they just walking\marching around the top of a skyscraper with quirky music?). Will definitely have to buy it and show the kids - although I can't imagine that it has aged that well?!

Very very very strange film that I found strangely entertaining and watchable despite being all over the place, seemingly by design.
