Been getting a load of calls from 08183651350. When I answer there is nobody there- just a sort of electronic screach after a few seconds. Is anybody else getting these calls or does anybody know what they are?

That's the number for an Eircom SMS message centre.

Try get a loan of a cordless phone with SMS capability to see what's being sent to you. You can also call Eircom and report it as a fault.
