Getting to the Beacon Hospital, Sandyford? (Old Thread)

    I need to get to the Beacon Hospital and back tomorrow evening, from the city centre. I am minus my car this week, and am lost. :o If anyone could give me any advice re. how to get there and back on bus/Luas etc, it would be much appreciated!

    Get off at Stillorgan, follow directions below (walk is around 10 mins)

    you could otherwise get off the LUAS at kilmacud as the walk is more straightforward. If coming from town, cross the platform when you get off the LUAS and go up the stairs to the main road to where the junction is immediately on your right.You'll see the hospital/hotel down to your left - it's about a 10 minute walk

    This is what I do everyday, I prefer it as you don't have to cross many roads and you can't get lost once you see the hospital.

    Get the 145 to Cherrywood, get on the Luas and follow instructions above.

    Or get the Finnegan bray bus, goes from dart station to the sandyford Luas. http://www.finnegan-bray.ie/timetable
