In a house where the tv is provided by the landlord but not used by the tenants who is under obligation to pay for the tv license? Thanks

    afaik

if there is a tv in "a" property a tv licence must be paid.

you are living in the property with the tv so you must pay it

if there is no tv in a property no licence fee applies

ask your landlord to remove the tv if you are not using it

    You are.

Get the landlord to remove the TV if you don't want it.

Or just never answer the door.

    Tenant is liable.

    Ask landlord to remove TV.
