It would be good to know the servicing cost and the turn around time for a service. The sprint is a good piece of kit but i find the Kane is more simplistic.

Anton Sprint v2 is my weapon of choice. Had a Kane before that.

Having a local dealer swayed it for me, easier to get it calibrated etc.

Note that there are different types of flue gas analysers. For different type of fuels.

The Anton Sprint V2 is a multi fuel analyser. And as far as I know Kane also have a similar model that is multi fuel.

Heatmerchants deal with these manufacturers! They may not have them in stock but used to order them if asked!

Takes about 20 seconds to purge itself in air.

i think it was 165 + vat for a kane 250 but needed both co and o2 sensors, not 100% on the price but give em a buzz

Heat-O-Vent close to the Red Cow roundabout, heading for Naas on the left hand side.

Thanks for that , do you know off hand how much they charge to calibrate them there , mine is due its first

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,492 ✭✭✭roy rodgers

I dont think there is any where in dublin that will calibrate the antons. I know charlie from h.e.s charges 85 or 95 euro for a calibration and then he O2 and co cell are extra but one gets changed in the second year and the other the third year. There is a quick turnaround with him only a couple of days

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,677 ✭✭✭shane0007

Apologies, I misunderstood. I thought you were looking to buy one. Charlie is the only one in Ireland who calibrates them. He is in Dublin every week and will pick it up from you or you can courier it to him. He usually does a 3 day turnaround and if he has a spare one, he will lend it to you if you are stuck.

    A great guy.
