Cant Log in to PSN

    Just after downloading the new system software update & now i cant log into the PSN . When i tried to sign in the automatic remember my password feature had been disabled but when i entered my password it kept saying i was incorrect .
    I then tried the forgot my password feature but kept getting "an error has occurred (80023017)" . I'm about an hours play away from being fully prestiged so this is hella annoying . Has anyone else encountered this problem?

      Servers are down for maintenance. I hear they'll be working at 5pm US time.

      yup same here and I've forgotten my password which is no longer automatically in the box. Where's my worst days ever list?

      It takes less than a minute to request for your password to your email/or change it via your security question.

      Ive lost my password again too, from memory i think i went to this site and reset it last time, but it is also down. It has an online/offline indicator on the home screen so at least you can see when the servers are back up

      It says everones forgotten their password, don't worry, you probably haven't actually forgotten it. You will get an error if you go to forgotten your password. PSN should be back up at about 2:00 AM our time. there's a thread in the playstation forum.
