I'm asking on behalf of a friend, so please go easy....

Has anyone got done for not paying the London congestion charge with an Irish reg? My friend is wondering about the inter-EU jurisdiction thingy and whether that has been implemented.

He genuinely forgot to pay and it's too late to pay online at the moment.

    Any input greatly appreciated.

no idea but if you can be done for it im ffed, was in and out of it two weeks ago every day for a week. First time I wondered was it a nice sign warning of bad traffic jams ahead and thought to myself "well it doesn't look that congested up ahead".

I got a parking ticket in a London borough last year with my Irish reg car. Didnt do anyin about it and never recieved anything in the post. I've been back but not with the car. Would be a bit nervous bringing it over again. With the camera systems they have it would be bount to show up?? or would it?

Won't be an issue. I was in and out of London several times last year on my Irish reg, and never had to pay anything.

When I have my car with me there I ignore everything. Never heard a word. To be honest, my Irish reg car was parked in a line of about 6 cars that all got tickets. Mine had nothing on it. It's not worth the hassle for them

do you think if say an irish car gets a ticket or fine in England, is it entered into the database and then will show if it passes a camera or police car with on board computer?

You know when you see those motorway police programs from England on sky if they pass a car with no insurance or tax it pops up on the screen in car?

I drove through London in June in my CE reg car and nothing in the post yet. I had no intention of paying it. Imagine rining them up they wouldnt have a clue what to do.

it will still show up on the anpr system for numberplates but you'd be very unlucky to get stopped. the next time your over you may have a different car anyway.

It's not worth the hassle for the tiny number of Irish cars on the road over here tbh. I frequent bus lanes also:D
