What discipline?

From social sciences - it varies, but usually things like questionnaires, consent forms, any critical document you may have used, printouts of raw results from stats package, diagnostics, summaries for all your variables if necessary. Anything too cumbersome to reproduce in the text (like these) can be placed in an appendix and referred to - particularly if it cant be obtained through citation by a reader.
