getting insurance with 3 endorsements

    Just wanted to know is there anyone who knows any good insurance companys and how much insurance would be for a 1 litre car with 3 endorsements.The endorsements are careless driving,drink driving and no insurance.

    just got licence back yesterday and no didnt get any quotes yet

    When I got my license back, I had 4 endorsments on a provisional license.

    I picked the cheapest insurance company (which was QD) at the time,knowing they would refuse. I asked for an email/fax/or letter stating they would not quote, then done the same with 2 more insurance companies. Then send all the letters or emails to the Irish insurance federation, they will call the first insurance company that refused you and tell them that they have to quote you. I got quoted something around 4k, this was 3 years ago and i was 21 in a 1litre starlet.I took the policy, got my full license which dropped it by 1.2k , then one day for some reason i rang up and got a quote for a 1.3 civic and the quoted 2.2k.. i had an old civic out back so transferred it onto that and back onto the starlet the next day bringing my insurance down to around 2k in under 1 year.

    No prob. Don't let the insurance companies bully you, just keep getting the guy from the IIF to ring them. ;)

    Just to let you know.. once you have THREE endorsments on your licence you are automatically BANNED from driving until ONE endorsment expires!

    So if you do get insured nad get an insurance company to take you on ..You are NOT covered as you are BANNED!

    Just informing you to save you money :P
