Anyone got a suggestion for the best way to get to DCU from Bray (using public transport). Just wondering if there is an alternative to driving.

All I can think of is Dart, then Bus... Would take a long time though

Probably quickest to take the DART to Pearse street, then the number 4 bus to DCU from outside Pearse.

DART to Tara Street then bus from Westmorland Street, 3, 11, 19A about an hour and 20 minutes.

Well I did it for 3 years, and tbh it's up to you!

145 and DART are both fine to town. The former may be a bit longer during rush hours, although as far as I know they've made the 145 super efficient recently. I always enjoyed the walk to the DART in the morning to wake myself up and the reliable 40 minute journey, but that's just me.

From town, I always thought either the bus stop outside the newsagents/Subway on Westmoreland Street or the one outside Dr Quirky's were handiest. The 4 doesn't stop at Westmoreland, but the 11 bus stop is a quick jog away if one of those pulls up while you're waiting. Most stop on O'Connell Street, although I think the 11 stop is slightly further away. Again, down to personal preference! Always preferred the 19A myself though :)
