    Hi.
Anyone any thoughts on whether to pay in advance for Alcohol and soft drinks before you board of this ship. Have been told can work out expensive for drinks.
    Cheers :o

Wrong forum, but I hear from Cruise goers that RC is absolutely terrible for it. And I'm not sure what their policy is on carry-on booze. Everyone I hear from usually becomes a regular goer of Disney Cruises which are a lot less hassle.

Thanks Overheal. Do you know what forum I should be on. New to this. RC seemingly dont allow any carry-on booze and if you buy Duty Free they hold on to it till last day.

yes I hear they are sheisty like that, it's unfortunately a large part of their business model. Ticket prices are lower but ammenities have ridiculous margins placed on them.

You can't bring booze on. End of. It is where they make a lot of money. Bit like bringing your own food to a restaurant. If you don't drink it is actually a very cheap holiday.

Great holidays, great ships and crowd to go with for a cruise.

Been on 3 with RC now, on the bigger class ships and can't say enough good about them as a holiday :)

Youu need to do your research first though. Port of calls etc. Rome for example is not really a Rome visit. More like getting off in Wexford and a bus/train to Dublin.
