    Hi.

Apple have fecked up my service requests for the past month i hae been without my 3gs for that period. i have been kicking up blue murder with them for the last 2 weeks. they agreed today to send me a new iphone 4 free of charge to apologise for the problems.

my question is that im with o2 and will this cause any problems as they have not provided the phone for me themselves.

    any ideas?

Assuming the phone is either unlocked, or operates on the O2 network I don't foresee an issue.

If you have phone insurance you should notify them too.

    Score! :p

if its coming direct from apple it will more than likely be sim free and not locked to any carrier. you'll be grand :)

will i need a new sim card? i beleive it takes a micro sim?

No reason why O2 won't supply you with a micro sim if you walk into a store.

You're contracted to them, it's of no consequence to them what handset you use.

I've used Apple's support recently and I think they are A1. They collected my phone on a Monday and I had a brand new one to me by Friday.

    No complaints here.

glad to hear you had a good experience.

I have had 4 service requsts cancelled on me. they also told UPS not send my phone to them. so now the phone is stuck in dublin depot.

they have admitted that they have been wrong. so many times. but still i got nowhere.

lets hope i get the new phone as promised.

but they have promised things beofre and not followed through with them.

    :(:(
