Who was that in the open top bus with garda escort

A man and two women were waving and cheering from the top of an open top bus with a garda escort in the city centre about 30-60 minutes ago. There ws a cameraman with them too. Who were they?

I hope when my day comes to have a Civic Reception and drive through Limerick in an open top Bus ecstatically waving and cheering to the empty streets that somebody, anybody knows who the fcuk I am :eek:

Mark something or other from limerick 95fm breakfast show is going to live in brown thomas window for 95 days in aid of some childrens charities.
Think bus also had kids who were sick from the hospital in it to cheer him on.

From Tuesday September 21st to Saturday September 25th, Mark Whelan from the Live 95fm Breakfast Show, will live in the Brown Thomas window, Thomas Street for 95 hours. Mark will work, eat, sleep, watch some telly and do loads of other stuff over the four days raising money for The children's Ark unit of the Regional Hospital, Dooradoyle and CARI.

Live 95fm would like to raise as much money as possible for these worthy Limerick charities so please donate what you can by going to the donations page.

I think that must be who it was. The bus was approaching Brown Thomas when I saw it. The women looked like they could have been promo staff for the station.

95 days? Snigger... He's not from Chile is he? But seriously, kudos to mark! My neice was in the ark for 2 weeks this year and I've massive respect and gratitude to all staff!!!

Brave dude in fairness, sleeping in a window display of brown thomas @ 3am on a sat morning will be ... an experience alright! queue massive amounts of people punching and vomiting on the window(and that'd prob be the least of it!). Fair play to him.
