I played Lee Valley a few weeks ago and on the 4th hole - a par 5 - i hit a 3 wood (driver wasnt behaving itself !) Followed by a 3 hybrid to the green just beyond the hole and 5 ft putt back down for eagle

Then on the 11th i think it was, a par 5, i hit the 3 wood, then a rescue club and was left about 35 yards short. Hit a SW and it stopped about 3-4 inches from the hole

On the 18th then, a par 4, i hit a 3 wood i think to the corner and then a 5 wood up to the green and it hit the flag. (To be fair it was going at some pace so wouldnt have dropped so i was lucky it hit the flag to take some of the pace off it for me)

Just saw the Eagle thread here and it got me thinking. Anyone here got more than one eagle in a round ? As you see above, i havent :D

never in competition but in a social round in co meath 2 yrs ago i got 2 eagles on successive holes - 9th & 10th. the 9th is a medium length par 5 which i hit a drive & mid iron into 20 odd feet & got the putt. the 10th is a short par 4 (310yds-ish) which was playing downwind so i managed to drive it into about 10ft & rolled 'er in. definatley turns a card around :D

Have had 2 before in a round in Kilkenny. Held my 2nd to the short 2nd and then eagled the par 5 13th(Possibly the 14th)

Two Eagles in a row must be some feeling. I'd have retired straight to the bar after that ! :D

All into the teeth of a 40mph wind too. With one arm tied behind his back. And using just a 7 iron.

I'd back to back eagles in Kilkenny on 14 and 15. 14 a par 5, hit a rescue into a foot, tapped in, stood up on 14, Par 3 and held a 5 iron....was much needed after a 43 front nine and a 31 back nine!

    early on this year,but it shouldn't really count,it was Charlsland,rescue to 10 feet for the first(poss 5 or 6th hole)and a 6 iron to the very short par 5 on the back nine(which i thought was a par4)to about 3 feet(around the 13th i think)

memory of the holes is bad as i hate the course with a passion

I have had a lot of eagles (and a couple of Albatrosses) but never 2 in one round. I nealry had back to back in the ulster boys in Ardglass about 15 years ago, there are 2 par 5's in a row on the front nine. Chipped in for eagle on the first one and hit it to 5 feet on the second and missed. Ended up missing the cut by one as well.

5th and 15th. Both pretty easy par 5s, but i quite like the course myself. Has a certain charm to it. One of the easiest front 9s around though.
