    Hi

I am looking to book a room within a pub for a charity quiz night, one that holds 50+ people, has easy access to the bar and has mic facilities. We want to use somewhere in the city centre, mainly Dublin 2, possibly any venues in the IFSC or close to it, but not temple bar. Can anyone suggest a good place? Thanks a million

Hi thanks for that, we used that last year and it was a bit small. However, I did the hard thing, got off my chair and visited a number of pubs. I think it is the only way to get a proper idea of what you are looking for. I'd recommend a site called http://www.dublinpubscene.com/thepubs/pubsdirectory.html#I to give an overview of pubs around Dublin, it also has reviews on some of them, plus maps of where they are.
