Laptop recommendations Asus/Acer

    Hi lads
    Im looking to buy a laptop for my sister on a budget of e400 to 600. I havent a clue as I have a dell inspiron 9300 for the last 6 years. I was thinking an acer or asus for that sorta money.
    she will be using it for the following:
    internet browsing
    watching videos
    word processing
    IM, & social networking

    Has anyone any recommendation for Acer or Asus within this budget ?
