i pad from the states

    hi all im just wondering if i pads are bought in america is it difficult to get them working over here . i know it is a stupid question but i really dont have a clue and dont want to chance it unless im sure thanks in advance for any replies

    I got mine from the states a couple of weeks ago and it works fine. You'll need to buy a new power adapter to use in an Irish power outlet or else just use a converter.

    thanks mgsrocks my parents are over there at the moment do they work out cheaper over there ?

    Depends on what state you buy them in. Mine came from Chicago which has an extra sales tax like New York city. I saved about 80 euro anyway.

    Love it. Will do the same for the next gen iPad and sell this one.

    It does work out cheaper but be sure you know exactly what you'll be paying so you can see if its worth your while. Find out what the state tax is, then find out what bank charges there might be, add in the cost of a new power adapter and the risk of being caught by customs.

    If your still making a worth while saving then go for it.
