    Hi

Just a quick one, am looking at buying a present of some Jimmy Choo's in Brown Thomas.

How much would I expect to be paying for a pair?

    Would €300 be reasonable?

Cheapest I've seen is about €350 (flats - though why would you bother - might be cheaper).

and only €390 online! Thats crazy - is BT over priced?

There's a big range in the Louboutin prices - for those particular ones, or the Simple (which is possibly the more classic version) the Net-a-porter prices weren't significantly cheaper than BT, especially including shipping. One pair was €395 and the other €415 as far as I remember from last time I looked in brown thomas.

Note - I have 2 pairs of Louboutins and find they're not that comfortable, even admitting they are very high. If the lady has long toes, they may not suit, the 'toe box' is quite short and cramped. I have a pair of LK Bennett Shilos which are quite similar, but 1000% more comfortable. But if she wears sky high heels all the time she'll probably be fine (while I do wear 80cm+ in work, I don't wear that high around all day)

Oh and one other thing - the red sole scuffs really easily. The Jimmy Choos probably have a leather sole that will also get ruined. You need to get them half-soled before wearing to avoid that (obv I didn't do that with the louboutins but did with the lk bennetts)

Thanks, may take a walk down that way at lunch time today.

Would it be safe for a man to be up there on his own??:-)
