Checking Toner remaining in a laser printer?

Is there any way of checking how much toner a cartridge has left? I have a Brother HL-2030 Laser Printer and I cannot seem to find a way. I know you can check the level of ink in Inkjet printers, but I don't know if it is even possible for a laser printer.
