I managed to lose the filler cap for my Mk2 Ibiza a few days ago.
It's one of the ones that you need to unlock with the car key.

How easy is it to get a replacement for it?

Should be very easy, as far as I know the cap should be the same as any of the main Seat\VW\Audi\Skoda caps, obviously the key won’t work anymore though.

Any good breakers or maybe eBay (beware of spurious items) should sort you out.

Breakers yard is probably your best option, you won't be able to lock it though, if this is a problem, then ring a main dealer, give them your chassis number and they will be able to give you a price for one that suits your existing keys.

The car is probably worth 200€ so I've a feeling it wouldn't be worth my while going to a main dealer.

Anyone know a good breakers yard near Dublin city?

Is there a flap to cover the cap you've lost, or does it just stick out to the body - if you know what I mean?

If there is a fuel filler flap, then just buy a temporary bung from a petrol station.

There's a metal flap over the cap on the Mk2 Ibiza.
I'll see what the local motor factors has to offer.
