    Hi

Just wondering if any people have had experience in getting connecting flights in Madrid. Looking to fly to Almeria at the end of October for a few days, the outbound flight times do not work so may end up overnighting there which would be ok, the return flight leaves Almeria at 17.55 and gets into Madrid at 19.05 which is Ryanair, the Dublin flight which is Aer Lingus leaves at 20.25, would we have enough time for making the connection? we would be checked in online for both and only have carry on bags. Cheers in advance!!

I flew DUB - MAD then on to Malaga but this was on a through ticket with Iberia. Was all very easy as they were in the same terminal and my bags were checked through.

If I were you I would check which terminals the two different carriers operate from and then if you have to clear security and get back through again.

Its only an hour and 20 mins you have to play with. I would not chance it personally on two separate carriers. It only takes the slightest thing to go wrong and you end up in Madrid for the night having to find a bed for the night and another flight home which 9 times out of 10 your insurance will not cover you for.

both operate from T1 there so that saves the travel involved from one terminal to another, still looking into it, cheers for the reply
