Hey guys, I want to create a QR that links to a facebook group for promotional purposes, however when I try to scan it my phone just takes me to the facebook homepage. I think its because facebook mobile doesn't support groups.

Does anyone know a workaround, or does this happen with phones that aren't SE.

That QR code goes to http://www.facebook.com/bitesize00#!/event.php?eid=110148812379379

That link is for a Facebook event page, but when I click on it (or open it on my mobile using a QR barcode scanner) it ends up taking me to my default Facebook Events page rather than to the event page it's meant to.

This is nothing to do with the QR code or the reader being used - the url isn't working. My guess would be that the event it's linking to is not available - it might be set to private rather than public. Check how it's setup in Facebook.
