    Sleek and supercharged, the Blacktop Jazzmaster HS has a Duncan Designed™ single-coil Jazzmaster neck pickup and a humbucking bridge pickup, with other distinctive touches including skirted black amp knobs, a Jazzmaster tremolo tailpiece and a lean control layout featuring a tonally convenient single three-way toggle switch. Other features include an alder body, maple neck with 9.5”-radius rosewood fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, gloss polyester finish and chrome hardware.

    I don't know what it is about Fender but every time they try to 'hotrod' one of their guitars it just ends up looking like a cheap Korean knockoff to me.

    I dunno... Not really a Jazzmaster, not really a Jazzblaster, the tailpiece is too close to the bridge (in keeping with the Classic Player bastardisation). At least they didn't put the Tune O Matic bridge in there I guess. It's cool the JMs are getting more popular though.

    Don't even get me started on the weak approximation of a 'Jaguar' in the Blacktop series. The Telecaster looks nice though.

    Edit; I don't even know what I'm annoyed about. I really like that they're making more offsets and changing it up a bit. Whatevs :p
