    WWE NXT
Smackdown the last week, really enjoyed the Taker-Kane build and Punk-Christian was good. I'm slowly warming to Del Rio too

    ROH
Tough one this week but I have to give it to iMPACT! (although I have to give props to NXT:D)

I personally thought parts of Impact were terrible this week so I voted for ROH. They had 3 really good matches on the show this week including an awesome American Wolves match.

Where dya watch ROH every week? Ive been meaning to start watching it. Do they have decent storylines going or is it wrestling based?

This guy usually uploads them to his channel.

They are more in ring orientated than nearly all of the show but they do have storylines which they build simply but well. There are still guys cutting promos and some backstage segments but if you want to see 3 great tv matches ever week then this is the show for you.

I voted "Other" because the closest thing I watch to a weekly TV show is the Chikara Podcast a Go Go. Chikara is the only promotion I keep up with full time, the pro wrestling in that promotion is hands down the best in the world. So far this year I've seen countless classic championship matches between Capeones De Parejas Ares and Claudio Castagnoli and opponents like Team Frightning, The Colony etc. The stuff is so good I find it nearly impossible to watch WWE afterwards. The gimmicks, the full on hybrid style and the larger than life personalities are everything that brought me to pro wrestling in the first place.

Of all the WWE product I'd go as far as saying Smackdown is their best show mainly due to the presence of CM Punk. Whom I personally consider to be the best overall wrestler in the world. I try my best to watch Raw to catch guys like Daniel Bryan, Orton and Jericho but its a little too much style over substance most of the time.

I like ROH on HDnet sometimes but it always seem to me that the TV show is never nearly as good as the rest of the shows they put on. Its usually a few ham fisted promos, a few squash matches and a main event that kind of works. Its ok but it should be a lot better considering Jim Cornette is booking and the talent roster ROH have.

TNA? I'd honestly rather be killed and fed to Giant Gonzalez than watch that garbage. AND IT USED TO BE SO AWESOME!!! What the **** happend to the great company of 2004-2006?

I actually cannot stand Chikara. It pretty much has me turned off DGUSA. There is some good talent there for sure, but it just reminds me of skinny pale indy kids in baggy clothes doing flips half the time.

I have given it ample chance, but it just is not for me.

The weird thing about Chikara is in some ways its supposed to turn some people off. Mike Quackenbush has come out and said he can't stand mainstream American pro wrestling and he decided to create an alternative to pretty much everything.

I personally feel its the closest thing to the original ECW in terms of approach to building a new brand there is, the product is a real mix of every kind of style there is. If you want Lucha Libre its there with guys like El Pantera, Frightmare etc. If you want 80's style WWF stuff then theres Larry Sweeney and Mitch Ryder (please come back soon!), Euro Style Catch wrestling is there in spades and yeah if you want to see skinny kids flip theres some of that too.

    ROH
TNA for me. Have finally thrown in the towel on the WWE with their botched handling of Nexus and their merry-go-round top 6 or 7 guys who just constantly face each other.

The Undertaker Kane feud is decent but not as compelling for me as it is for my friends.

Enjoying TNA immensely. Watching Kurt Angle, the cruiserweights, Samoa Joe etc is just entertainment central for me.

It strikes me as more than a little strange to criticise WWE storytelling and then praise TNA in the next breath tbh.

Well the WWE storytelling is awful. And I didn't praise TNAs at all. I just said I enjoy watching Angles, Joes and the cruiserweights matches, as they are far more exciting than anything WWE has shown me lately. Storyline wise, TNA is still fairly gack.

*Holds Chikara frisbe as he types this*

    I.

    Love.

    Chikara.

It get the blend of great crusierweight action and comedy done perfectly. I'm dying to see the Toyota matches from this weekend.

This weekds podcast-a -go-go really hit home for me, just to see the return of one the greatest wrestlers of our generation. Dragon Dragon.

Yeah! I've seen pics of Sara Del Rey and Toyota going at it, looks awesome. Do you watch the shows on HybridEnt.tv or do you get the DVD's? I've been going with Hybrid Ent now for the last few months and I'm really happy with it. Don't get to keep the shows but its easy on the pocket and quicker than waiting for them in the post.

The show I'm freaking out waiting for though is the Dark Ciberknetico, I'm a HUGE Ultramantis Black mark! I only wish they'd stream it live or something.

On another note I co host a gaming podcast with Wiggly of the Go Go, he'll no doubt be delighted to tell Quack theres another Irish viewer out there! Maybe if theres enough of us they might send more guys over here!

Also I've got a Chikara Frisbee Too! Thought I was the only one in Ireland!
