Rear Caliper Audi Coupe Quattro

    Hello, just wondering has anyone had this problem before, the hand brake on my 86 coupe quattro is seized the mechanism on my D/S rear caliper the piston is still free and the brake works perfectly when using the pedel.

    Does anyone know a way getting it free or if not where is best to pick up a new caliper.

    Yes I had that with an S6 Quattro - I assume they are similar calipers. I just kept moving teh mechanism over and back manually and sprayed wd40 on the shaft - it eventually freed out but started to tighten up again a few months later.
    I believe the fix is caliper replacement though.
