Ya know those reading glasses you can buy already fitted with lenses of +1 or +2 or whatever magnification... well does anyone know if it is possible to have those lenses taken out and have them reglazed with lenses to my own prescription?

I really really love some of those frames and can't find similar anywhere else but not sure if it would be straightforward to do this.

    Any advice appreciated! :)

Hi I have reglazed a few ready readers in the past. Some frames are straightforward but most are welded and sealed. Have a look at this link Tell me if any of these match what you like and I'll tell you if they can be reglazed. Or if you already have a pic of the frame style you like post it up and I'll see if it can be reglazed

I'm not affiliated with the site linked. It's a supplier comany we use.

Thanks Endplate! Not sure if you remember a thread of mine here a couple of months ago, about Vision Express messing up my eye test - TWICE! so they ended up putting the best thinnest reaction lenses in my own frames for free! Well I ended up losing them! I think they must have been jinxed from the start!

Anyway, yes, I like one of the frames on that link. If you scrol down to the classic ones, it's the half-eye plastic frame with flex hinges in havana!

I love those narrow rectangle shaped frames but can't find them anywhere other than in those ready readers.

Ah yeah sorry I was trying to remember how I knew the name. Sorry about your frame after all the hassle you had previously.

That frame you liked is reglazeable.
