The idea pops in and out of my mind all the time. They are powered by electricity ATM, but why not alcohol? It just seems better.

My boards.ie "posting stupid crap until 4am" function needs alcohol to function at the moment, so yeah I suppose it could happen that computers need it in years to come.

I suppose its possible, its just that we need all the alcohol at the moment to power the Dail.

Why can't my computer be powered off love or cuddles, or my sense of loathing and hopelessness I feel towards the world every day of this miserable sexy existence of mine?

In the same sense that when a Mac user tries to claim that Apple are "just better" and then cannot justify this assertion with actual facts?

Like eventually electricity will die out, that is just fact, but alcohol will always be around.

No future computers would still be powered by electricity but we would be generating electricity from other sources besides fossil fuels. Why would we need to get rid of electricity in the first place?

Just in case the OP is serious, theres a serious answer

I seriously do not want my computer to be drunk and malfunction. A drunken computer? The computer will probably go bust if it needs alcohol to function not feasible or technologically possible.

Would the computer make you breakfast in the morning?

you can do that now. Pour some vodka into your USB port, then sit back and be amazed.

Maybe in some form but more likely still on old fashioned elecy.

Anyways, we'll be using quantum computers in the not too distant future and they can do multiple computations at once.

    Its some mad stuff altogether.
