Mrs Trampas needs a spare wheel for her 06 1.25 Feista.

It has the 16inch alloys when she bought the car it had a spare wheel in the boot but when we went to put the wheel on one day it was the wrong wheel.

we had the car over a year before we found out.

less learned is always check the spare wheel fits you would think that they would supply a correct wheel.

Am I better off contacting a garage to get a spare wheel or trying the scrape yards?

Does it not fit over the wheel studs, or is it just a different size?

A lot of cars come with a space saver spare wheel, which will get you to the nearest tyre centre to get the main wheel repaired, but not much further.

Usually smaller in diameter, and a lot skinnier than the normal tyres/wheels.

the nuts didn't match up at all.

even one of them rubber wheels would do just to get the car home or to a garage.

how much are them to buy?

Best bet is to go to a scrap yard - sure they'll have some sort of wheel with a half decent tyre on which will fit a Fiesta.

I wouldn't bother with the garage you bought it off. You'd probably end up going home annoyed and disapointed.

It's been a long, long time since I bought a wheel from a scrap yard but I'd guesstimate around €15-€20 for a steel wheel with tyre.

You might be able to just get the proper bolts to suit the spare.
