Hi all, does anyone know if their is such a thing as an app to enable me to send mms (pic messages) to international numbers namely uk?

Would like to send my mum a few photos via my galaxy s (shes in the north) I am aware I can send her them via email, but she's not technically minded AT ALL, so being able to send them directly to her mobile would be the easiest option by far!

Kinda sucks how uk mobile users can mms us, but we don't seem to be able to do it to them.

I'm with 3 Ireland, and my mum is o2uk btw.

None of the irish operators support international MMS as far as I know. You could look into if her operator supports email to mms. You can send an email to <phone number>@mms.mymeteor.ie and it will arrive as an mms on the recipient's phone (at least you used to be able to).

You can try PingChat! , I can send free mms messages through this app to an iPhone.

This suggests it might be possible

So, for instance, if you wanted to send an email to a o2 user who's number was 447872556558, you'd send to 447872556558@mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk
