Does anyone know of a bus that runs from town to the front entrance of the Collins Avenue entrance of DCU??
I know a few stop at the Ballymun entrance but I haven't been out that way yet and not sure I'd know where to get off.
    Thanks

The only bus that I know stops directly outside DCU is the 104, but that doesn't start from town.

Having a quick look around, the 4, the 11/a and 19b all go pretty close. (Check the route map)

You can also get the 16/a, 33, 41/c and a bunch of other buses to Whitehall or Santry and just walk to DCU too.

The Ballymun entrance of DCU is really obvious, you see the gates and the sign on your right. The Slipper, Eurospar and a chemist are visible to your left. Plus loads of people always get off there so it's really obvious.

Much more frequent bus service, and you can ask the driver to tell you when you're at DCU

The Ballymun Road entrance to DCU is where the buses from town stop. No bus from town stops at the Collin's Avenue Entrance.

4/4a/11/11a/13/13a/19a All stop outside the Ballymun Road entrance.

Everyone going to DCU by bus from town will be getting these.

Try taking a bus into town from the Ballymun Road entrance, and kep an eye out for things your recognise.
When I started I learned where to get off from certain sites, particularly when the bus turns the corner onto the wider Ballymun Road, and then passes a petrol station.

The same ones that go from cc to dcu!
All the buses that stop at dcu go to the cc, just take different routes

The '3' went fairly close to the Nursing Building on Collins Avenue last year.. has that changed? You get off just as it turns right into one of the estates.

    Okay, one final question:

Which bus(es) go from the college to the airport?

    TIA

Cheers, need to get to either Busaras or Airport to get bus home.

Dublin Bus website isn't very user-friendly I find.

The 16A goes to the airport, and stops about a ten minute walk from DCU.

The 109A (Bus Eireann) goes from DCU (Collins Ave Entrance) to Navan via Dublin Airport.

Come out collins avenue exit of dcu and turn right heading to the major traffic light junction on the swords road. When you get to this junction, city centre is to the right. Airport is to the left. Wait for the 41 bus. 33 bus also maybe. Some go to the arrivals terminal. Some will drop you on the main road, a 10 minute walk from the airport but this has the advantage that you often come across a ryanair hostess struggling with her load
