That is one sweet looking car :)

Looks class. The back of the car looks real nice, love the lights.

That's class. Much nicer than the current 6er.

I hate the back, and the rear lights. Hate the new 5 series for the same reason too, vomit inducing rear :(

I love the current 6 series though, and loved the old 5 series from when it was brand new.

Back of it reminds me of the Passat CC

Lovely looking car but it could become indistinguishable in comparison to a new 3 series 2 door. The bootlid being the main/only giveaway if even that.

    I like it

The top shot makes it look like a cross between a Mercedes SLS and a Bentley Continental GT

That's one ugly car. To this day I still can't decide whether I like the existing 6 series or not, but from these photo's I won't have any such indecision.

I like the back and dislike the front oddly. That back on the current front would be sweet. Sadly for BMW though, the old one looks different as opposed to old, I think it looks better still, even if neglected :

For some reason this reminds me of the Peugeot 406 coupe. Especially the back quarter in the 1st picture.

Looks exactly the way a modern 6er should, at last we have a worthy successor to the 80's versionh, pity they had to use the ugliest possible interior colour combo in the promo shots though!

Are you sure they aren't going to call it a 520Cd? Can anyone guess what the next 3 series is going to look like? : P

The interior is stupidly similar to the old model

Love it. Always hated the look of the old 6er, i know it's a personal thing, but i just never liked it!

Think the old 6 series you either liked it or hated it. Was a really nice car but would have had an M5 over an M6.

will current used 6 series drop in price much when this goes for sale? Wouldnt mind a 630, the 4.4 V8 would be nice, but is 130kg heavier and much heavier on fuel...

The new 635d(or 640d as some are saying it will be called) will have 300 bhp and top 40 mpg, so that is the model to have, well at least when buying new and under warranty and don't have to worry about replacing one or both of the turbos, or replacing the engine because of swirl flaps; we all know how notorious BMW diesels are for lunching their turbos and injesting swirl flaps:D!

    Sorry, but what?!
I can understand people seeing similarities in some things but... c'mon? Really?

Anyways, I like it! But I love the current 6 series as well!

Yeah, if it wasn't for the bottom grill being a sort of rectangular shape rather than Aston's sort of oval shape, it'd look quite Aston I think.

The outgoing 6 Series was one of those rare cars that I never went off admiring. Don't get me wrong, I hated most of Bangle's work, but his so-called 'flame surfacing' worked perfectly on this car along with the Z4.
