Take it to the <insert name> forum!

Why is it that certain threads are allowed in After Hours yet others are moved to their correct forum or even locked. Why is it that every sport related thread started will be either locked or moved, be it a thread about Wayne Rooney's affair or the latest Championship action. Yet threads about politicians, the presidential race etc aren't moved to the political forum? Should articles on the pope and the catholic church not be in the religious forum? TV licence thread in the Television forum? I could go on….

Even look at After Hours today. A thread about Viagra was moved to the Gentlemans Club yet the one about penis size remains in After Hours! Where the consistency? Either move them all or don’t move any!

After hours is an off topic type forum so subjects that would or could be discussed seriously in their appropriate fora are discussed here in a more light hearted/puntastic way.

Some threads are deemed by the moderaptors to be more in keeping with the specific forum and not AH.

One may not doubt the mod's supreme intellect in all matters pertaining to threads, forums and life in general for to do so would bring eternal banishment in the bog of eternal stench ( I watched Labyrinth yesterday).

Our mods who arth in the internet, hallowed be thy name. Forgive us our trolling and lead us not into going off topic.

A sport thread is a sport thread and should be kept to sports forums but the politics thread's in After Hours are usually quite a lot different than those in the politics forum.

This is why I use after hours the most because of the variety of subjects all in one place and its easier to follow them and yeah it can be annoying that threads get moved / closed saying it has already been posted in lets say the leitrim forum in one I would never visit

sometimes it would be nice if threads would be just left here to get a different view, the other forums around boards are strict moderation and jokes and puns would not always be permitted

I once started a thread about getting a cramp in me "No man's Land" and that got moved from AH....surely that was the place for it!

I can still remember the pain and discomfort of that cramp, was so sore and soooo unexpected!

Took a huge solid dump out in Killiney Castle Hotel after a wedding over the weekend.

Burst a clump of arse-grapes and had to leave as I was wearing a white tropical suit.

Thread is up on AH hours under 'Killiney Debacle' still there so I'm told.

As Mods we have a certain quota we have to reach. x amount of locked threads and x amount of moved threads, this goes for bans and infractions. You may notice that a lot get locked together, this is when we have let it slip and we need to meet the quota.

If we don't meet the quota we don't get the coke and hookers.

When people do that I really dont think they are trying to be funny. Alot of members just get annoyed at certain threads that are allowed in AH's when there is clearly a more appropiate forum for them, for example threads about a statue of a skanger on a horse somewhere in Dublin...

A sport thread about the Wayne Rooney scandal would be alot different to the threads found in the soccer forum but those we either locked or moved 2 weeks ago...

And why do Mods lock some threads and move others. If a thread belongs in another forum surely you move it, not lock it.
