Another family member has an iol.ie email address that is now receiving tons of spam emails... all those stupid viagra ones.

Any idea on what I can do to stop this?
There's over 10 coming in every day and it's head wrecking!

If you access your e-mail via a browser, then you're probably best to just switch to a Gmail account as it handles all that sort of stuff very well. It's also generally a much better e-mail system.

If you use an e-mail program (e.g. Outlook or Thunderbird) then there are in-built & 3rd-party spam filters that can help. However Gmail would still be better overall and you can use it via browser or with an e-mail program.

I'd also recommend GMail, it never gets spam.
I'd advise that you set up a 'dummy' email account for registering on forums/sites etc. though, so that this new address will soak up the spam while your main address is safe.
