Internal Repeat Query

    Hey,
I'm just wondering if anyone knows if they've changed the fees for internally repeating a year? A mate of mine might have to repeat 2 modules if not allowed to carry into next year and is trying to weigh up options. I know when I had to do it a few years ago it cost me around €2000 (plus capitation fee) to repeat 3 subjects as it was <60% of the course (would have cost around €3000 if I failed >60%).
I had heard a few things over the last year or 2 about them charging on a module by module basis but never really looked into it as it wasn't a concern.

Can anyone clarify if the < or > 60% system is still in or has it since changed and does anyone know how much it costs? this is regarding DT228 computer science in kevin st. btw.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Im repeating 6 modules from that course, and paid my fees tonight.

Basically it goes by credits. Its 60 euro per credit, I'm repeating 40 credits.. so that comes to 2400 euro.

    Then theres the capitation fee.

If youre repeating less than 100% of the course, that capitation fee is 135 euro.

if youre repeating 100% of the course, then its the full 1500 or whatever.

I've asked the same question a few times on here, and was given wrong information. I even rang the school, and was given wrong information. Eventually, I went into the office, and finally was given the correct information. Having now fully paid and registered, i can tell you firsthand, the above information is correct.
