    Hi guys/girls!

Is there any law pertaining to the right to privacy in your home?

Is there privacy law in Ireland?

For example.....being overlooked consistently in your home.

Any law or regulation that protects your right to privacy and to prevent people looking into your home if being overlooked in close proximity? Without obviously having to close your curtains or erect a wall!!!

    Any thoughts are welcome.

You've a right to privacy under the Constitution, albeit an unenumerated right. There was meant to be a Privacy Act introduced although this was shelved for quite awhile and it could be awhile before we see it enacted.

Obviously you may have a cause of action is someone is standing at your windows staring in (on your property) but not if someone is on their own property.

There's possibly an issue of Harassment also
