I bought an Iomega screenplay plus mutimedia player and have a macbook pro, the macbook pro recoginises the media player but won't let me create folders or copy anything from macbook to drive, do I need to reformat it and if so does anyone know how??

well normall by default it should be formatted to Fat32, and if you are able to see the drive but not create folders, it looks some sort of permissions to me. i would prefer if its still new format again to fat32 and see if you able to created folders.
