Mods, feel free to move if you need to.
    Hi all,

Yesterday about 5, booked flights with ryanair, hit pay now and confirm but got the session locked screen - click here if you are not redirected etc.

Problem is, the payment is showing as pending on credit card account.
Can't get through to Netteller to ask them the story and ryanair helpline is not open weekends.
I fear if I leave it until tomorrow and it is not gone through on last nights attempt, the price is going to change in one directtion - up.

Has anyone encountered this? They attempted the payment but then the site decided to give me the session locked screen.
Should I book again? Will yesterdays attempt reject?

    Advice appreciated
    Thanks
    Irish

Selection option 3 and see if your booking is in the system.

Sorry Blue, I should have mentioned I tried that a couple of times and its not there and also no email confirmation. Normally, if something like this happened, I would just go again but in this case, it is showing on the card as pending.

this happened me last week with laser card while booking a hotel, just froze, I contacted my bank and the informed me there was a payment for €489 pending but could not tell me who it was for. the bank hold the money for seven days until the get a receipt and then the release the money. after the seven days the money became available to me again.

    Thanks Honda.
I never experienced this before with R/air so I am in two minds about whether to book again tonight in the hope it will all be rejected tomorrow but then they could send me a mail tomorrow confirming the original...i'm stuck!

No, they were about €270 altogether so not cheap by ryanair standards

at that price you would be better waiting, other option is you will have four flights and looking for a refund. I should have said my hotel was not booked and I had to wait a week for my money.

Sound Honda, I searched the net earlier today and this evening and found stories alright where people had double bookings and it can be a nightmare trying to get money back. Also found a story though of someone who didn't get their flight, had to ring c/services and ended up paying extra €25 per person. I'll come back here and update tomorrow for future users who search for something similar.

Turns out the tickets were there, reservation was fine too - thanksfully, had to ring ryanair to get the ref though!

    hi,

I encountered the same problem. Is there a possibility to verify if my booking was made without quoting Reservation Number ? I can see only 2 options and both of them require the number.

    regards

Hi I have just had the same problem booking flights for a relative who is very computer illiterate!

Ryanair is a complete nightmare when things go wrong, and after searching the web, it seems it happens very often!

Where is option 3 gone ? I have no confirmation email or reference no. And customer services & banks are closed! Do I risk booking it again or wait until the morning?

Only Ryanair can tell you if the booking was made or not. You'll have to wait for them. There's nothing else you can do, and no one else can tell you.
