Ok here is my problem hopefully someone will be able to help me. Okay i needed to run a program as an admin so i right click cmd and ran as admin and opened the hidden admin account and done what i had to so i rebooted and logged back into my normal account to turn off admin account and could not run as admin got error

Windows cannot find 'C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe'.Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

Its the same with all other programs when tried to run as admin. And the folder that is on the taskbar when i clicked that it says cannot open this item.
It must be some bug that caused it im really regretting not logging off admin account and logging into my account and closing hidden admin account and then rebooting.

Anyone know what could be wrong or how to fix it. Thanks.

What exactly did you need the Administrator account for? I'm inclined to think that it might have caused the problem.

Yea it turns out it wasnt the hidden admin account that was the problem. It was the *removed* i was using on the program Protel 99se it worked in xp and oviously does not work in W7.corrupted W7. I know it was that as i fixed it the first time and redone it again with out going into hidden admin account and same problem and then fixed it again that program wont be going any where neasr my W7 machine again.

    Hello!
I am actually experiencing a very similar problem after installing Protel 99 SE on win7 and I can't run anything as an admin and do anything that requires an admin permission. so was just wondering how you fixed your problem?

    Thanks!

Are you on a server which gives out permissions to your account every time you log on? If so you would have to be given admin access form the server also.

    Hello!

    Thanks for your reply!
Actually I was able to activate my hidden administrator through safe mode and can log on.
On my administrator account, I can access regedit (which I couldn't on my sole user account), and access cmd running as an administrator.
But there were still things I couldn't do such as:
uninstalling a programme through control panel. The error I get is that the programme I want to uninstall seems to be already deleted/uninstall. But this goes for everyone of my programmes on my control panel. I can however uninstall if the programme itself provides an uninstall executable.

Also, I cannot turn on my firewall, which is probably caused by my base engine filter not being able to turn on. The error I get here is that the file cannot be found.

Another thing is that even on my administrator account, whenever I click on an option that requires an administrator access, nothing happens.

    Thank you!
