Are hair products sold by hairdressers worth the cost? Are they better then what you can by in a regular shop?

Some are, some aren't! Do a google search for reviews on the exact brand/product you're thinking about buying. Redken is really good IMO.

Depends on the brand really. I use Kerastase or Redken all the time and really notice the difference if I use a cheaper shampoo/conditioner. Kerastase Bain de Force (just under €15 with the discount) is brilliant for damaged hair, it really does make a huge difference. I like Redken All Soft conditioner - about €11 or €12.

I get them on feelunique.co.uk cos they're way way cheaper than in salons here and the delivery is free. If you go to the forums on beaut.ie there's a link in the general one that gets you 2.5% discount on feelunique.co.uk.
