USB connection plate What cable to use.

    hello to all,

    i am just wondering what cable would you use for a USB connection. i am putting one into a 2 gang faceplate along with data and a camcorder connection.

    I would use Cat 5. What are you using for the other data connection?

    Bear in mind the max length of USB without some sort of repeater is 5 mtr!!!

    In practice I've never seen it work reliably over anything near that distance...
