Who is DCU's degree awarding body?

    Just wondering who is the awarding body for DCU?

    DCU do the awarding themselves under the (I think) Universities act of 1987.

    Well UCD are not the awarding body for their university, the NUI are. Sometimes it isn't so obvious ;)

    Well UCD are not the awarding body for their university, the NUI are. Sometimes it isn't so obvious ;)

    UCD is a constituent university of NUI, hence NUI awards it's degrees.

    DCU is one of the 3 independent Universities in the country, the others being UL and the College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin.
