Anytime i turn on the PS3 to play CODMW2 I've to enter all the settings again.. Only started happening over the last 3 days.

What i mean is when you start you get that screen with the "barely visible" / Clearly visible etc.. cant really remember them now.. Also I've to adjust the screen horizontal / vertical ..

Also say's my Online % of completion is 0.. but when i go to play online it's at the normal 200% so it's ok.

Anyone know whats happening? and how to stop it lol.

    Cheers.

Did you switch it off by the wall by any chance?

Try going on for a game, then under ps menu quit game, then after that shut down manually in the same menu. See if that helps.

To be honest I haven't had to go through the display settings. It has happened that it showed 0% completion, that was only when I played online on a different ps3 at a friends.

I always switch off at the mains and this is has only happent now.

I'll try what you said ,, but as I said it's never happent before ..Just annoying more then anything.. No data has been lost.. well i dont think any has.. I dont play the single player levels. I had about 17% done.. haven't check it since this started happening. Also haven't checked Spec Ops... But i'll have a look when i get home.

I don't think it matters whether you stich it off at the mains after. I phrased it wrong, I meant do you switch it off by the mains straight away instead of manually turning it off through the ps menu? Once or twice when there was a power cut my ps essentially was cut off at the mains and I lost a bit of exp I gained while playing that session

Sounds like your save file is corrupt.

Turn on the PS3 and before you load the game, go to game > saved data and delete the MW2 data

Then start the game and create a brand new save file and it should be ok

So long as the Hardrive isn't fukkered itself!

Swithcing off on the mains wouldn't affect it in anyway
