running as a different user from admin

    Is there anyway using psexec or another tool to run a command or program as a user that's logged into the box if you're accessing it via an administrator account or any account that has whatever permissions are required.

    The runas command is probably your best bet. I'd usually use as 'runas /user:USERNAME taskmgr.exe', and then launch whatever other processes you need from the File > New Task option.

    I don't think there's any way of doing it without their password - certainly the runas option won't work without it.
