The new Beth Ditto at Evans collection was launched yesterday - some interesting pieces in it! Much more wearable than last year's collection I think, or perhaps I've just become more adventurous!

My favourite is this velvet dress:

...and this spotty one, which is adorable!

Judging by the sterling price, it *might* be a bit cheaper this time around. Can't wait for it to hit stores so I can go try stuff on! :) Anyone else spot anything they like?

It's already sold out on the website! I hope they get some into Henry Street like last year.

I agree about it being more wearable, last season's collection was to shiny and clingy.

Back with a bang apparently, it's bloody everywhere.

Asos is infested with the stuff.

I love velvet, but it has to be good velvet. I felt some in penneys (yeah I know, but it was the first time I'd seen any in the shops) the other day and it was clearly not good velvet

I like the polka dot dress but I think it would look better if the collar was a solid color (white) dont think any of it is worth the high price though.

Very nice, it says Sept 23rd in the shops, what'd be the best branch to head to? Henry Street branch?

Henry St. Branch is usually the best, it's the Irish flagship iirc

Think this dress is nice - would have to see it in real life before I bought it though! I agree that the collection is much better this year!

The long black ruched jersey dress is fantastic, the red dress beautiful and the gold sandles out of this workd. The prices are ok. All very wearable but having gone from a 22/24 to a 18 I sort of dont want to shop in Evans again as it was one of the few places before that I could get clothes to fit and almost feels weird to finally not have only shop in a few places. Was chatting to a friend about the range yesterday and she as a 6ft size 16 stunning woman had place a order for the shoes, cardi, high waisted legging and the velvet dress. Will be dying to see them in the flesh, so to speak.
Have a funny feeling the black rushed dress will be coming my way but with a much smaller sized lable than before.... WOO HOO

shopping in Evans can be fun when you're an 18 or a 20, you feel really small :p

Yeah, the web stuff went like *that*! I'll be nipping in on Wednesday to see if they have anything, or if I can order that velvet dress. Saw a fashion blogger wearing it today and it's a fabulous shape!

I saw the grey floral one on a few blogs and it looks really gorgeous on, I might have to give it a go! On a mobile so can't link, but it gives an amazing shape.

One thing I noticed though was a pair of leggings which cost 85 quid. :eek :

I am in all sorts of love with it.

Evans is the one place that makes me feel slightly comfortable! Being an 18 is not fun in a lot of the high street shops!!

Just wish Evans had some more fashionable stuff, a lot of it is very mumsy!

It's quite dear too, I normally only buy from the sale rail unless I see something really amazing

While in Edinburge we took the train up to Glasgow and went shopping. Had a look in Evans at the beth Ditto range. treated myself to the blue velvet dress. Looks lovely on but had to go up a size. I fin perfectly into A-ware size 18's but with the Beth Ditto dress the 18 was far to tight around the belly so went for the 20. The sales staff said the range was small fitting. The long black ruched maxi just did nothing for me but did get the gold sandles which are realy comfy. To me the booths looked cheap and tacky.

As I have lost over 4 stone I hadnt shopped in Evans in ages but they have some really nice bits and also got a couple of tunics (in a size 18) The jewellery was really fantastic and I will be keeping a eye on the website from now on.
