'Petite' Crisis!

Hi, I'm getting married at Christmas & my mam is really starting to struggle to find a suitable mother of the groom outfit because she is petite. She has always had success with the various labels carried by Arnotts & Clerys but she's raped the rails there at this stage & can't find anything. Could anyone maybe suggest specialist stores? Or failing that just anywhere that carries labels for the smaller woman? I'd really appreciate it. She's had a tough year & my concern is that she won't enjoy the day if she cannot find something she feels herself in

Hmm, if Precis/Minuet/CC didn't deliver, maybe have a look at their online ranges, in case there's something they didn't get into Arnotts or Clerys, they may be able to order in.

Jesire in Brown Thomas is a nice petite fit but may be a little younger in style than she'd like (my mother has picked a few bits there tho so you can be lucky).

Would she get something made? If she has an outfit she likes, she could take it in and they could make up something similar in a different fabric for her. I can't recommend a dressmaker but I'm sure others on here can - my friend's mother got her MOB outfit made when she couldn't find anything, and it was stunning, she was a different woman in it (that was in Cork tho hence that tailor may not suit). Though it did take a while, so if she's going down that route she needs to start asap.
